List of Artists with Upcoming New Music

Lana Del Rey, Blue Banisters (July 4)

Following her recent album “Chemtrails Over the Country Club” that was released in March, Lana Del Rey is set to release another album on U.S Independence Day, July 4, titled “Blue Banisters.” Prior to its release, the singer-songwriter has already shared three new tracks called “Text Book,” “Wildflower Wildfire,” and the title track “Blue Banisters,” which were all written by the artist herself.

 

 

 

Lorde, Solar Power 

After a four-year long hiatus, Lorde is expected to be returning to release new music after she teases a striking cover photo with the title “Solar Power.” There is no information yet about the exact date of release, but the tagline on the teaser says, “Arriving in 2021… Patience is a virtue”.

 

 

 

Rihanna, R9 

Five years after her last studio full-length album “Anti,” there are reports that Rihanna has been working ‘secretly’ on her ninth album dubbed as “R9”. The project is still a work-in-progress but Rihanna is set to go to Los Angeles for the filming of what seems to be a new music video in July. With full of hopes, Rihanna’s fans are excited to hear the new music from the superstar soon.

 

 

Drake, Certified Lover Boy 

Drake assures his fans that his album called “Certified Lover Boy” will be released within this year after being delayed due to his recent surgery. In his Instagram story, he posted an update writing: “I’m looking forward to sharing it with you all in 2021.” This new album will mark his sixth full-length studio album after “Scorpion” in 2018.

 

H.E.R, Back Of My Mind 

Grammy-winning Fil-Am singer, HER, is finally preparing for the release of her long-awaited debut album titled “Back of Mind.” On her twitter post, she revealed a notepad with handwritten scribbles including the name of the title track and a song called “We Made It.” Although there is still no official date of release, the post suggests that HER have a couple of unreleased songs ready to come out soon, while her new single “Come Through” featuring Chris Brown is out now.

 

Coldplay, Music Of The Spheres (Oct. 15)

The British rock band, Coldplay, is believed to be working on their ninth album called “Music Of The Spheres.” After dropping their recent single “Higher Power,” reports claimed that the album is set to be released later this year.

 

88rising, Head In The Clouds III 

Third edition of 88rising’s “Head In The Clouds III” compilation is about to be released soon. The announcement was made at the end of “Too Many Tears” music video, with Rich Brian and NIKI making a brief cameo. The first two compilations, “Head In The Clouds” and “Head In The Clouds II” were released in July 2018 and October 2019, respectively.
